Walking With the People

San Lucas Health Project

Who are we?  The San Lucas Health Project formed in 1990 from a group of people interested in providing health care services to the communities in and around San Lucas Tolimán, Sololá, Guatemala, Central America.
Who are we?  We are physicians, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionist, engineers, hygienists, high school students, college undergrads, graduate students and retired people. We range in age from 13 - 73 (so far).
Who are we?  We are people who care. We come from all faiths. We believe in service. We want to help the people of San Lucas Tolimán. We have the means to spend a couple of weeks (or more) in a developing country learning about its people, their needs, and about ourselves.
