Student Research has been a significant feature of the efforts of the SLHP in San Lucas. Students from educational institutions across the country have provided significant insights into the health attitudes and needs of the community. The students' findings have contributed much to the clinical work performed in San Lucas and to the clinician's appreciation of cultural and social forces that affect health and access to health care in San Lucas.
